A bit outlandish, a bit ridiculous, yet also so appealing in it's lush suede tones... it's the Weather! or not? Jester Chair! So you're friends might think you're a little eccentric, we all know the joke's on them, don't we?

Comes with nine different animated sit poses, as well as several options for bells including silver, brass, or without. In addition, you can rez a version of the chair that has some gentle jingling sounds hiding in the bells when they are clicked. If you prefer, there are also versions in the box with no sound in them as well. 225$L for an exclusive mesh design by Further Monday.

Rainbow Lanterns, Barbed Wire Fences, The Precarious Pier, and The Big Barn Shop!

Weather! or not? has been very busy this week, we've got several great new products being released. Let's start out with something to brighten your day, these gorgeous lantern strings in rainbow colors. Our lanterns are very popular, and with good reason! They are both very efficient in terms of prims and have a great three dimensional design. I thought it was time to make some muilt-color packs, so this is the first of that series to be released... more will be coming!

Next we have some barbed wire fences for your landscaping needs... they come in both sculpted and texture panel versions, and new and aged versions, totaling four different sets to choose from (two pictured). Not only do you get an easily configurable set of fence pieces, but each one comes with a scripted gate that includes an animated pose, so you can perch on top!

The Precarious Pier is another new addition, and you and your friends will have loads of fun with it. It feautures 10 different animations and poses, and can seat up to 6 avatars at a time! It comes in three different colorings - grey, medium, and dark wood, and can even be used as a partial off-sim if you like.

Finally this week we are releasing the Big Barn Shop, a large two-story extremely rustic building with loads of character. It includes custom shading, loads of sculpted detailing, creaking doors, and a U-shaped design that fits a 32 x 50m space. Unlike many other builds, this shop is chock full of three dimensional details, not relying on alpha textures, but instead using sculpted pieces.

The Old School Desk

So I was in the shop the other day, and the customer walking through was looking for an old school desk for a punk rock high school party. I didn't have such a thing, yet, but I been thinking about making something like that for a long time. She gave me the final push to get on with it, and a week later, I present to you…

The Old School Desk, bad apple edition, is scratched, worn, bent, and graffitied! This desk has seen the trial of years of abuse by misbegotten youth. Now you can be your own rebel without a cause... The desk comes with six different poses, all the way from lounging with your feet up, to sprawling on the desktop, to hiding under the chair. The whole scene is ten land impact, one for the optional shadow map, five for the chair with poses, and four for the desk. It also comes with the purely decorative chair with a land impact of three.

The desk features detailed, original texture work and original mesh sculpting. I think you'll be impressed with the quality. This is our first mesh release of many more to come... stay tuned!

Three new releases for you this time based on some of our favorite themes to start the year off!

Firstly, we have our latest in the Wrought Iron Whimsy line, the Gateway! Can be used as an exterior garden trellis, a grand entrance piece, or interior splendor for your elegant builds. In fact, it even comes with three different styles to choose from, plus can be further costumized as they are copy mod. The lamp element in the design has a full light and illumination control touch-menu in it, and they go perfectly with the rest of our Wrought Iron Whimsy releases.

Oh by the way, we're part of a great new monthly event called Designer Showcase, where you can find a new offering from each creator for a special deal of $100L, including our Gateway for the month of January. Go check out all the great things! From the landing point go straight north and you'll find the building.

...and for something *completely different*... a Shabby Shop! Yes, we did a 180 this week and made something fancy, and something nearly falling apart! You have to admit, it's chock full of character though. Made to fit on a corner, this store has two levels, all custom sculpts you won't find elsewhere and creaky scripted doors. Besides, just because it's shabby doesn't mean it isn't well made ;)

Finally, we have a special release exclusive for the Extend a Helping Hand funderaiser event for the Queensland flooding in Australia. The Bridge Over Troubled Water is a recolor of our arched bridge in weathered white that is 100% donation. We also have the Rainbrella and our Lightning System there at 50% donation. Thunder and Lightning! Plus Wear Gray exclusives...

Experience dramatic bright lightning and deep rumbles of thunder on your SL land. 'Weather! or not?' have created an intuitive menu controlled ' Thunder n' Lightning System' for your high voltage atmospheric pleasure. You can almost smell the ozone!

This system has some special features you won't find in others... it's very customizable so you can get the effects you want. You can control the localized placement of thunder sound repeaters, the volume of sound, the range of area in which the lightning strikes occur, and how often they occur. It's also got an interactive menu system that makes configuring easy, and cleanup when you want to delete the sysem is very simple.

We've been working on this one for months perfecting it! We think you'll be impressed, and especially enjoy the range and quality of the thunder sounds that are triggered by the lightning flashes. Fang brought his audio engineer skills to the forefront on that. In addition, we have optimized the scripting control for fasted response and lowest lag.

Dubious Fun with the Dangerous Diving Board

Someone nailed this diving board together years ago and nobody has taken it down yet...

...so you and your friends can still risk life and limb like you do every year down at the old watering hole. Climb on it, hang off of the end, sunbath on top, peer over the edge, pretend you are a hero, lean against it and look cool, suspend yourself upside down from the side... heck, you can even dive off the thing if you are really brave enough! There are ten different poses to choose from in the interactive menu, and you can get five avatars on it all at the same time!

This is a collaborative effort between the building skills of Weather! or not? and the posing imagination of HopScotch. It's only six prims, including the shadow, and features all original sculpting and pose work you won't find anywhere else.

From Weather! or not? this week: low-prim, unique sculpts that we made ourselves and textures with lots of character - those are some of the highlights you'll find in our great new set of releases!

We've gone through some of our most popular and complimented items and made a two new sets of color offerings. In addition to the original pale brown wooden line, we now have a set of weathered white and black tarred builds for your landscaping and decorating needs.

Designed to create two difference atmospheres, the light colored set would be perfect for weddings or celebrations, whereas the dark set is custom built with the spooky and neglected in mind. Of course, it's your creativity to use them however you like!

Have you got some big Halloween plans in the works for this year, or do you just crave a darker atmosphere? You will not be disappointed by the black tar line for creating a creepy environment... These textures are exclusives and carefully designed to add some extra sophistication and depth to the sculpted designs.

We have quite eclectic set of offerings for you this week, all of them to be found at OPERATION SQUEEGEE HEADQUARTERS!

First off we have the events stage itself! This is a custom creation by Fang specifically made for OpSquee but suited for all sorts of outdoor events and locations. It features sturdy, rustic wooden construction and an unusual design making it perfect for those tricky corner locations! Of course, we always love to keep our prim count down, so the whole stage including ivy covering, stairs, handrails, and beams is only 44 prims. Made with our own unique sculpts so you'll never find another like it in design.

Then we have the lantern strings... based on one of our most popular items, this is an exclusive multi-color combination of orchid, mint, and bluegrey. Only 4 prims for the whole strand of lights, the package also features several choices in style - straight or curved in perfect condition or with a bit of aged and tattered character added.

Ok, now for something *completely different*! From the twisted minds of Fang and Further - we present... the Gloop avatar set:

... comes in both "Crude" and "Refined" versions. Both include giant spreading oily footprints, sloshing sounds when walking, and a comical AO. Crude is bigger, badder, and just plain awful, where Refined has spiffed itself up a bit with a top hat, tie, spectacles, and even a carnation. Still, I don't think this avi is gonna win any modeling pageants! Still, what a look, eh?

Seeking contributors and volunteers to participate in an SL exclusive fundraising effort to support recovery efforts from the ongoing gulf oil-spill. The event will run from July 1st - 15th, and will have lots of events and publicity associated with it, as well as a vendor merchandise area with donated items for sale!

Funds raised through Operation Squeegee will go to The National Wildlife Federation Oil Spill Recovery Fund. You can read more about their efforts here.

Ever felt the need to project lightning from your eyeballs? We have! We know this feeling well, so we made this for your convenience:

When the HUD button is triggered animated lightning prims dart forward. Simply stand close to your inteneded target, look at them, then click the HUD... ZANG! A nasty phase shifted zapping sound will play and coloured lightning will beam from your eyes! Whether this lightning has a positive or a negative effect is purely a matter of imagination and superstition ;) Either way, you will definitely have made contact!

Yellow Brick Road to Nowhere and Pose Stations!

We released this during the Fantasy Faire, but never had a chance to blog it... plus we've just released a whole set of other interactive scenes based on the original build!

First up is The Yellow Brick Road to Nowhere. It is is a 16m x 50m piece of interactive offworld scenery with several different poses attached. It was designed to sit mostly beyond the edge of a sim. Of course, it can really can be used many different ways, including entirely within parcel boundaries. The poses provide a way of inhabiting this object even when it protrudes over the edge of a sim boundary. You can have up to 9 avatars posed on the Road at the same time! The poses match moments in the story - you can skip down the road with your friends, sleep in the poppies, get crushed like the Witch under a house, hang up and scare crows, cower in the bushes, and be rusted solid like the Tin Man!

If you prefer, you can now choose just single activity areas. Each Yellow Brick Road Pose Station is a 8m x 8m piece of scenery with an associated pose. The large transparent poseball over the scenery makes them easy to click from a long way away. Each one comes with two versions. One includes the grass textured base, miniature road, and emerald city. The second version is more simple and has less prims as it just consists of the scenery specific to the pose.

They make fun interactive additions to your home, garden, shop, or other build. People love to take pics of themselves and their friends while playing on the Pose Stations, and they will remember the unique experience! There are 6 different kinds available.

Dragonfly madness at the Alt Fair

The Alt Fair is all about protecting people from exposure to Malaria from mosquito bites by providing nets to families. It's a simple concept, but a powerful and effective one. Weather! or not? decided to go with the bug theme for our exclusive releases for the Fair... so we went with dragonflies! (Further has a bit of a thing for dragonflies, you see). There are a series of these tshirts - with two different colors schemes for the graphic and then varying shirt fabric hues as well. These forest green ones pictured are the variety released exclusively for the Fair.

... and of course we had to release an umbrella as well - this one is a lovely Green Dragonflybrella! It features the same swarming particle system that the Batbrella uses.

The Alternative Fair is on the Pulse, Nomine, Snatch City and New Kadath Sims April 22-May 2. The first Annual SL Alternative Fair features over 50 designers in Punk, Rock, Gothic, Grunge, Lolli, Visual Kei, Cyberwear and many other styles of Alternative Clothing, Skins, Hair and Accessories.

Upcoming Releases at the Fantasy Faire!

Well, we've been meaning to make more of this line for a while - and now it's here. Presenting several new items in the Wrought Iron Whimsy series - Wall Sconces, the Whimsybrella, and coming very soon - Fences! The items in this series are great on their own and even better combined. You could create quite a lovely place with the Sconces, Lampposts, and Fences all together.

Each of these designs is completely original, right down to the sculpts themselves. Don't worry about slow loading sculpts though - these are super efficient and re-use the same patterns throughout the whole series to maximize your rez speeds. There are lighting elements included that give you full control over all aspects - intensity, color, prim color, etc. Very customizable for whatever location or occasion! Even the umbrella comes with it's own light!

Ok, we also should mention our one of a kind exclusive item for the RFL Auction at the Fantasy Faire. It's a Rosepetalbrella with purple tones - there will only be ONE of these released ever in this color scheme! Spring has sprung with the new Daisybrella

What's better than walking around with a giant flower as an umbrella? Having two types of daisies spiral out and blow around you in the wind! Our newest umbrella offering features these elements, as well as lovely sculpted leaves and color change petals to match any outfit. This creation is very joyous - everyone we know who's seen it seems to have their spirits uplifted a little. We certainly enjoyed making it! :)

Hello folks! We have several things going on at the moment involving VDay celebrations. Firstly, you can see our NEW RELEASES of the Tough Love jewelry line at the I <3 Originals Fair. In addition, our Lovebrella was featured in a blogpost about the offerings there!

We are also a part of the Valentine's Bazaar - a great little event featuring more than two dozen designers with everything 50L or under. We have an exclusive White Lace Gothic Heart Lantern set there that you can only buy at that location. Running until the 17th of February only!

Fences are very popular at !WorN?, so we decided to make another bunch of them for you all. We proudly present the 'Higgledypiggledy Fence Set'. Highly detailed sculpties modeled on intersecting layers of planks to make a rustic style fence, high quality textures and very low prim design would make these a fantastic addition to your build. Various length pieces, multiple intersecting angles, and endpieces are all 1 prim each. A working gate is also included (it is 2 prims). This set includes 9 pieces total. This set comes in two versions. One is made of rough hunks of old wood, giving a very rustic look. The other is a clean version for a more streamlined look. Enjoy!

With a lacy and tattered texture, these fully sculpted, luminous heart shaped lanterns give a sophisticated twist to your decorating. Calm and still or pulsing with a complex pattern of light, they are definitely not ordinary... dark exterior with a glowing interior.

Each string of 9 lanterns is only 4 prims! All original sculpties and textures. There are four strings included with each set (all of which are copiable), two curved and two straight strings, an animated and a still lighting version of each.

Weather! or not? are proud to release the Scupted Wooden Suspension Bridge (we didn't have a wittier title on hand~sorry ;) ) which has been in the works for quite a while. Made from only 7 prims (including guide prim), this item has plenty of custom sculptie detail, lovely natural textures and many practical applications, for all your chasm spanning needs! Furry with banjo not included.

Based on the success of our Paper Lantern Sets, we decided to make another variation on the idea. Voila! Beautifully crafted and textured with spectacular smooth light animation, these strings of delightful luminous heart shaped lanterns will brighten your Second Life with their vibrant deep colours, animated pulsing or serene still glow.

All parts are COPY permissive so you can rez as many of each as you'd like, additionally, these components are MOD permissive so you are able to adjust their size to suit your individual needs.
